Interventions

In both individual and family therapy, I offer a space that is grounded, collaborative, and centered around your unique needs. My work is trauma‑informed, which means I focus on safety, choice, and understanding how past experiences shape current patterns, emotions, and relationships. Whether we’re exploring your personal story or the dynamics within your family system, I meet you exactly where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you.

Together, we look at how trauma impacts the mind, body, and relationships, and we work toward strengthening connection, resilience, and understanding. Therapy becomes a place to explore what feels heavy, clarify what feels confusing, and build new ways of relating to yourself and others with compassion and intention.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy helps the brain heal from trauma by gently reprocessing memories that feel “stuck.” Through guided bilateral stimulation—like side‑to‑side eye movements—EMDR supports the nervous system in releasing overwhelm, reducing emotional intensity, and creating new, more adaptive pathways.

Somatic Interventions

Somatic interventions support healing by helping clients reconnect with the body’s natural ability to heal. These approaches gently bring awareness to physical sensations, breath, posture, and movement to help regulate the nervous system and release stored tension from overwhelming experiences. Somatic work can create a deeper sense of grounding, safety, and presence, allowing clients to process emotions in a way that feels embodied, empowered, and sustainable.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps clients build psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present, respond to life with intention, and move toward what truly matters. ACT blends mindfulness, values exploration, and practical skills to support people in shifting away from struggle with difficult thoughts and emotions and toward meaningful action.
